I’m Harry Donenfeld—a Maui-based producer, photographer, storyteller and creator. I work with brands, organizations and people whose products and ideas fit naturally into my life.

My work crosses animal care, healthy living, travel, outdoor adventure, Maui life and what it means to remain curious, active and open to new experiences after 60.

I’m available for UGC, affiliate partnerships, product demonstrations, photography, short-form video, producing and other creative collaborations.

A Little About Me

My career has taken me through television production, photography, underwater exploration, community service and a chapter as Maui County Film Commissioner.

My family history is tied to the earliest days of DC Comics, but I’ve spent my life building a story of my own. Today, that story is rooted on Maui, where I share my home with a memorable family of rescued dogs, goats and other animals.

Appearing on Netflix’s Million Dollar Secret took me completely outside my comfort zone—and reminded me that some of life’s most memorable chapters begin when you say yes to something unexpected. Competing in Next Runway Star at age 60 continued that journey and reinforced something I’ve come to believe deeply: reinvention doesn’t have an expiration date.

I bring professional production experience to my work, but I don’t want the content to feel overproduced. It should feel honest, useful and human.

My rescued animals are part of my real life—not props brought in for a shoot. When a partnership genuinely fits them and their needs, they bring personality, humor and an unmistakably authentic setting to the work.
